The colour representation covers 110% of BT.2020 colour space This enables extremely wide, natural, and colour-intensive reproduction – without the use of colour filters. Pure spectral separation by laser ensures exceptional colour accuracy, supported by a precise, reference-level optical design.

Analise in real time Pro AI algorithms the image signal scene by scene and dynamically adjust both the contrast distribution and the brightness gradation via multi-level tone mapping. This process is supported by the new Laser Dimming supported – a technology in which the laser light source is dimmed or amplified in real time to deepen dark areas of the image or to specifically highlight bright scenes. This creates a true dynamic contrast, which goes well beyond mere technical contrast values and ensures greater depth, three-dimensionality, and expressiveness. Even in demanding HDR scenes, details are not lost or burned out – a typical weakness of many projectors with fixed light output.

The Hisense L9Q supports all common HDR formats – Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HDR10 and HLG – and fully exploits their potential through fine-tuned tone mapping. Even high-contrast content, such as night shots with point light sources or bright HDR documentaries, remains controlled and nuanced. The native 4K resolution is based on a 0.47" DMD chip with XPR shifting technology, as in the Hisense PX3-Pro, and is supported by MEMC inter-frame processing for smooth motion.

Already with the PX3-Pro the AI-supported intermediate frame calculation (MEMC) an outstanding feature that ensured smooth, judder-free motion. In the L9Q, this function has been further improved: The Movement analysis is AI-based based on frame prediction and object tracking. The flexible image size ranges from 80 to 200 inches and is going through Auto Screen Alignment and manual keystone correction can be easily set up.

Gaming enthusiasts benefit from the dedicated Game Mode, the the Input lag at only 12 ms lowers – measured at 1080p and activated Turbo mode with 120 Hz. An integrated Game barallows quick access to relevant settings without interrupting the game. This makes the L9Q Laser TV suitable for competitive gaming and offers performance that hardly any UST projector in this class has been able to deliver.

The Acoustic solution of the Hisense L9Q was created in cooperation with Devialet and is based on a specially tuned loudspeaker architecture that is based on the legendary acoustics of the Opéra de Paris. With an output of 116 wattsWith Dolby Atmos and DTS:X support, as well as an acoustically sophisticated cabinet design, the integrated system produces an astonishingly broad soundscape – precise, detailed, and room-filling. For many users, this may eliminate the need for a separate speaker system, significantly reducing installation effort.

Hisense also focuses on convenience and system integration when it comes to operation.
